This past weekend I went to a Ladies Retreat at my friend's cabin that is just outside of Grand Rapids. Alicia picked me up Friday night and we were on our way. When we got to East Bethel though, Alicia's phone rang, it was another group of ladies, they were stranded in Rogers! Claudia's car broke down, so we had to go pick them up.
Thankfully they were close to a Tires Plus.. We didn't get up to the cabin till almost midnight- but everybody was still awake waiting for us. Thank goodness that was the only drama..
What a wonderful weekend- the lake was so peaceful. It was very laid back; we ate, chatted, worked on puzzles, hiked, fished- and basically just relaxed. I could have handled another couple of days..
