What we've been up to...

Here's what we've been up to since I posted last:

Hosted a shower for my sister-in-law Heather who is due any day:





The girls spent the week with their Grandma Sue and Grandpa Bob since Chelsea had to head back up to school. Here is just a snippet of things they did, for a complete run down, go to Bob & Sue's blog.

Went to the State Fair:


Made caramel apples after picking them straight from the tree:


Over Labor Day weekend, Matt, the girls and I went to the Renaissance Festival:





While we were there, we went to this "Dungeon" exhibit. We had no idea what it was about, but I made the assumption it would be safe for kids. Well, it was all about torture methods used back then! Great. The girls were fine, but we obviously didn't spend much time there. After we left, Kyla nonchalantly said that the reason she didn't live back then was because God loved her too much, isn't that sweet!

And lastly, the girls went back to school on Tuesday. Here they are on their first day, unfortunately this is a fuzzy photo:
